Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced that certificate verification and counselling for the posts of Assistant Engineer, Assistant Engineer (Civil), and Acting Surveyor in the Combined Technical Services (non-interview posts) will be conducted from May 7 to May 8, 2025, at the Commission's office in Chennai.

The recruitment process was initiated via Notification No. 09/2024, dated July 26, 2024.

The written examination, conducted in computer-based format, was held between October 14 and October 23, 2024, excluding October 19, 20, and 25.

An objective type examination was also conducted on October 26, 2024. Marks and rank lists were published on February 20, 2025.

According to the Commission, the list of candidates provisionally shortlisted for certificate verification and counselling has been released on its official website based on merit, community reservation norms, and vacancy position.

Eligible candidates are advised to download their call letters from www.tnpsc.gov.in. Notifications will be sent via SMS and email, and no separate communication will be sent by post.

TNPSC clarified that final selection will be based on candidates' examination performance, rank, reservation rules, application details, and available vacancies.

The Commission has also cautioned that appearing for certificate verification does not guarantee appointment, and no second opportunity will be given to absentees.
