New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday interacted with astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla and hailed his achievement as a proud moment for the nation.

During the meeting, Modi and Shukla discussed a wide range of topics, including the astronaut's experiences in space, India's progress in science and technology, and the ambitious human spaceflight programme 'Gaganyaan'.

In a post on X, the prime minister said, “Had a great interaction with Shubhanshu Shukla. We discussed a wide range of subjects including his experiences in space, progress in science & technology as well as India's ambitious Gaganyaan mission. India is proud of his feat.”
