New Delhi: The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has invited online applications for the 2025 National Sports Awards, which recognise excellence and contributions in the field of sports.

The honours include the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award for the most outstanding performance by a sportsperson; the Arjuna Award for consistent achievements; the Arjuna Award (Lifetime) for lifelong contribution to sports development; the Dronacharya Award for coaches who produce medal winners at major international events; and the Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar (RKPP) for corporate entities and NGOs promoting sports.

Applications from eligible sportspersons, coaches and organisations are being accepted only through the portal www.dbtyas-sports.gov.in.

The deadline for submission is 11:59 pm on October 28, 2025.
