Chennai: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) for science subjects on December 18.

Qualifying in the UGC NET is mandatory for appointment as assistant professors in colleges and universities across the country. The special CSIR-UGC NET is conducted for candidates from science streams.

Applications can be submitted online through the official website — https://csirnet.nta.nic.in — until October 25, officials said.
