Overview: The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), functioning under the Department of Defence Research & Development, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, stands as the nation's leading engineering training institution in the defence sector.

Significance: Designated as a Deemed University (DU), DIAT provides higher education opportunities to a diverse group.

With a legacy spanning over six decades, DIAT has been delivering advanced technical education at the postgraduate (M.Tech) and doctoral (Ph.D.) levels in specialized defence-related domains.

Admission: Admission to M. Tech Self-financed will be based on the performance in the written test, conducted by DIAT. Written test will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ).

Examination Pattern: Objective, Subject Specific Correct Answer: 1 Mark
Wrong Answer: -0.25 Mark).
All questions will be based on qualifying degrees (BE/ BTech).
